Looking for suggestions on replacing my 10 year old Reillo oil burner. Burner still works fine, but there are very few service technicians who work with Reillo burners.

Any thoughts on the most efficent / dependable burners?

Dennis, I see this combination most often:

1. Beckett burner
2. Carlin combustion coils
3. Honeywell Controls

I tend to think these are the best. The Germans Buderus boilers utilize their own burners which are very highly rated, but you are in the same boat with service availability.

Good Luck!

Buderus boiler with your Reillo burner. It doesn't get any better than that. I don't think it's even arguable.

Ditto Chad.

Riello is the best and most expensive as is the Bud.

I cannot imagine not being able to find techs who cannot service Riello. Hunt around and find both the tech and supply house with the parts. Then buy Riello knowing you won't need the parts the way all the other guys will!

Bud. G115 with indirect tank and Logamatic-- that's what I'm saving up for right now!
