I ain't no H.I. but those condensers should be level and further apart for adequate airflow. Need a firm footing. Also, that gas meter is close to an ignition source but probably just makes the 3ft. What's up with those linesets? ------------------

Improper clearance and working space at the electric disconnect (serves the air conditioning unit). The depth and horizontal unobstructed clearance should be 30-36 inches for safety. Also, I believe that condenser manufacturer wants 12 inches between units for proper circulation. Are these units anchored and level?------------------ Joe Nernberg |

That thing that looks like a line going to the gas meter is part of the tracing line that is wrapped around the gas pipe so it can be located underground. The wall mounted Rinnai tankless water heater is a bonus find! Should have a 36" top clearance and a 5' clearance from the gas meter. This home had 3 tankless units all mounted too close to the soffit. Y'all are doing good! |

Let's open it up for anyone! No that is not a condensation line it was to have been a TPR line but the builder ended up installing the tankless units. It is just an abandoned CPVC pipe. You can't imagine the number of call I have received today from the builder, buyer and plumber on this home! |

The drain pipe opening should be sealed up on the line then. Makes a perfect entrance for honey bees to start in the wall void. |

Is that a pull disconnect feeding both water heater and Compressor? Or is it a breaker panel? Mike |
