Hello to all,

After trying to search previous posts, I gave up and decided to just ask my question at the risk of being redundant.

Is it acceptable to untwist a stranded grounding conductor so that it will fit into two (2) separate lugs? Example

Thanks!

Shane - It probably works fine and is certainly attractive, but I can't imagine it being allowed. I'd like to see someone separate ALL the strands and have each one terminate under its own screw!

Tony/John,

Thanks for replying.

Did you notice the big ol' scorched component at the left service conductor? Ouch!
